We built this in-wall electric fireplace to be small—but seriously powerful. It’s a compact infrared heater that throws out a lot of heat in one direction, exactly where you need it. Think tight spaces. Think places where you can’t compromise on heat output.

Power, voltage, and size—straight talk

At the heart of it is a high-wattage halogen element—usually around 2500W—running on 400V. That combo gets the filament hot enough to maximize infrared output. The whole unit is designed to slip into narrow in-wall cavities, with the tube often coming in around 300mm long. You get a lot of heat from a small footprint. That’s the upside. But it also runs hot—so you have to plan for proper thermal management. Keep the surrounding enclosure cool, and you’re good.
